Overview

Episcopal Collegiate School is a coeducational 6-12 grade Episcopal school in Little Rock, Arkansas, just two miles west from the heart of downtown. We engage our students with a challenging college preparatory curriculum, an active extra-curricular program, and daily chapel. We seek to attract and retain a talented and diverse workforce. Compensation and Benefits

Episcopal offers competitive salaries, generous leave benefits, health insurance paid for the employee, and a retirement plan. Episcopal makes other voluntary programs and benefits available to full-time employees, but does not make contributions or payments related to these programs and benefits, other than noted administrative expenses. Some of these programs and benefits include supplemental pre-tax insurance policies, such as dental, life, short-term disability, cancer, accident, heart attack, as well as flexible spending accounts for unreimbursed medical expenses and dependent childcare expenses. In addition, Episcopal provides limited funding for continuing education for faculty and staff to attend workshops, conferences, and other programs that promote professional growth.

Applying
Candidates applying for a teaching position should have the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in the discipline you wish to teach.
  • Arkansas Teachers' Certification, or in the process of obtaining a certificate in the field you wish to teach. Teacher certification outside of Arkansas is acceptable; however, applicants must obtain an Arkansas license as soon as possible after accepting a position at Episcopal.

For teaching positions, please provide the following:

  • A complete application
  • A current resume, college, and (if applicable) post graduate school transcripts
  • A letter summarizing your reasons for wanting to teach at Episcopal, if applying for a teaching position
  • A statement about your philosophy of education

For administrative positions, please provide the following:

  • A complete application
  • A current resume and cover letter
  • A letter summarizing the specific administrative skills you possess and the personal and professional goals you would bring to Episcopal.
