The school's philosophy emanates from its secure spiritual and educational heritage and from its commitment to meet the challenges of a changing world. The educational goals of Episcopal Collegiate direct each student's potential in five areas of growth: intellectual, physical, social, spiritual and moral.
A challenging curriculum fosters broad-based experiences and choices. Students not only acquire the basic skills to continue their education but also gain a love of learning and the ability to apply their knowledge to moral, intellectual, and social questions.
While focusing on the individual, the school endeavors to develop in each student a concern for others through the sharing of experiences by students and faculty from diverse cultural, ethnic, religious, and socioeconomic backgrounds. This caring manifests itself in programs of service in the community.
All aspects of school life foster intellectual, moral, and personal maturation. Students are educated to make value judgments and informed choices in order to become adults who lead lives of personal integrity.
