Welcome

Welcome to Episcopal Collegiate School! We are pleased you have chosen to learn more about our community. Episcopal challenges students in sixth through twelfth grades with a comprehensive and balanced program of academics, character development, community service, and athletic, artistic and extracurricular activities.

Our Teachers
Our talented faculty inspires students to realize their potential and acquire a love of learning by combining both innovative and proven approaches to teaching. In the process, teachers purposefully instill in students the confidence to be self-reliant and independent thinkers. To that end, Episcopal seeks to enroll young people who demonstrate academic ability and motivation, intellectual curiosity, creativity, and good citizenship.

Our Facility
The Episcopal Collegiate School campus, opened in 2000, is on a 31 acre site located on Cantrell Road, minutes from downtown Little Rock. The campus features computers in all classrooms, laboratories and offices that are connected by a fiber optic network. It has two libraries, specialized science laboratories, visual arts studios, and a robust athletic program supported with fields and gym that allow student athletes to compete in the Arkansas Activities Association.

Our Selection Process
The purpose of our admission process is to identify a good match between Episcopal and the applicant in order to bring together a student body committed to personal and community growth. The Admission Committee, comprised of the Director of Admission, Headmaster, and the Division Head, evaluates each application carefully, looking for proven performance and potential for growth.

In making its decisions, the Admission Committee reviews a student's current academic record, standardized test scores, teacher recommendation, and results on the Episcopal admission exam. The Admission Committee also looks for some combination of talent and interest in student leadership, artistic strength, athletic ability, and community involvement, among other attributes in the selection of students.

Our Policy
Episcopal Collegiate School is an independent Episcopal, college-preparatory, co-educational day school for students in grades six through twelve. Episcopal Collegiate does not discriminate on the basis of sex, race, color, religion, or national origin in administration of its educational programs, admission and financial aid policies, employment practices, athletic or other school-administered programs.

What I enjoy most about being an Episcopal student is how it builds a wonderful academic foundation, offers something for everyone's interest, and provides a wide array of opportunities. From athletics, to academics, to the fine arts there is something for everyone to enjoy. Finally, Episcopal incorporates strong Christian values into the daily schedule as well as academics and athletics. My years at Episcopal have truly been the best years of my life -
