Episcopal Collegiate School has received tremendous support from its dedicated constituency since before we opened our doors in August, 2000. In 1998, more than 260 donors participated in a capital campaign that generated $20 Million to purchase the site and build Phase I of the campus. These gifts came from parents, grandparents, faculty, and administration. Other support came from friends, who view Episcopal Collegiate School as a wonderful and important addition to educational opportunities in Arkansas.
May 11, 2004 will forever be remembered as one of the greatest days in the history of Episcopal Collegiate. Warren A. Stephens, President of the Episcopal Collegiate School Foundation announced that he and his wife, Harriet, along with his father, Jackson T. Stephens, made a gift of $30 million to establish a permanent endowment to benefit the school. The Stephens family was one of the families who founded Episcopal Collegiate School.
Choice in education is of utmost importance in today's complex society. Episcopal Collegiate School campus was named to honor Jackson T. Stephens for his life-long support of education and his significant role in making the school a reality. Episcopal Collegiate School offers a unique atmosphere that provides a stimulating and challenging academic curriculum, unlimited athletic opportunities, an extensive performing arts program, and an emphasis on each child's character development.
