Episcopal Collegiate School’s Athletic Program is designed to further the mission of the School and to contribute to student’s physical, spiritual, moral, and social development. The Athletic Program strives to develop a student’s physical skills and abilities and focuses on sportsmanship, teamwork, leadership, cooperation, citizenship, loyalty, character, and personal responsibility.
Whether amateur or seasoned, all students have an opportunity to play competitive sports at Episcopal.
We offer 12 sports with 40 different levels of teams including the sports of baseball, basketball, cheerleading, cross country, football, golf, soccer, softball, tennis, track, volleyball and wrestling. Episcopal Collegiate School has a "no cut" policy so every student athlete can find a place to display their talents
In athletics, as in other areas of our school program, there are many opportunities for students to develop leadership and management skills. Students can serve as captains on teams, or assist coaches in various programs. Each year, Episcopal honors student athletes with a sports banquet. Individuals are recognized for excellence in sports with Most Valuable, Most Improved and Coaches Awards for each team. Overall athlete excellence is recognized with the selection of The Outstanding Student Athlete (the school's highest athletic award), plus Sportsmanship Awards and Special Awards.
Episcopal competes in and is a member of the Arkansas Activities Association.
