The 7th/8th grade girls and boys soccer teams played The Anthony School at home for the final games of the season. Both teams finished with tied scores, but the games were played with heart and fine fancy footwork.

The Easter Bunny made a surprise visit to preschoolers through first graders before our youngest students enjoyed an Easter egg hunt and an opportunity to pet and hold chicks, bunnies, a duck and even a baby goat.

The Lower School Chess Club played a challenging game using our new oversized chess pieces on an oversized chess "board."

The Seniors met with their Kindergarten buddies for an Easter Egg Hunt on the Lower School playground. A joyous time was had by all!

In celebration of their studies of Victorian Era literature, the seniors and freshmen participated in an authentic Victorian High Tea on Wednesday, February 24. All the students dressed in Victorian costumes, feasted on tea sandwiches and sweets, and played parlour games and croquet.

Mrs. Beard's sixth grade history students took advantage of clear weather to re-enact a battle from the Peloponnesian War (400s bc) on the Quadrangle. Students created hoplite costumes (warrior gear) and cardboard weaponry, and were assigned to either Athens or Sparta. Unlike the original combatants, our "warriors" suffered no casualties!

Students in the Middle and Upper Schools spent a "spirited" week leading up to the Homecoming Game for varsity basketball and the King of Hearts dance. Dress up days followed such themes as "doubles day", "nautical day", "Disney day", and "neon day." Upper School students greeted their "Kings of the Court" nominees for the King of Hearts dance.

Mrs. Jennings's Third Grade Class celebrated the 100th day of school with team tower building (how high in 100 seconds), an art project (using 100 geometric shapes), and a surprize ice cream party (with 100 pieces of candy topping.)
