Theatre
Episcopal Collegiate School's Theatre program exposes students to the varied and multifaceted world of theatre and theatre production. The theatre curriculum provides students with a solid foundation of theatre history, dramaturgical research, technical theatre, and acting technique. Two main stage productions are produced annually, and students are encouraged to participate and apply their learning on stage. These productions are under the direction of the theatre instructor and selected students, thus providing the perfect opportunity for students to apply their personal and classroom experience. Each student is encouraged to participate regardless of former training or current knowledge of theatre. Fundamentally, a strong emphasis is placed on the process of creating theatre within a community that nurtures artistic engagement and growth.
