Lower School PreKindergarten and Kindergarten Associate Teacher
Episcopal Collegiate is seeking applicants for an early childhood associate position currently and for the 2025-2026 academic year. This position is best served by a teacher who has a vast knowledge of child development and experience with children. An associate teacher should have the ability to meet the physical demands of working with young children and the energy to maintain a positive attitude and approach throughout the day. This person should also exhibit a flexible mindset and a desire to work in partnership with the lead teacher and the grade level team. An associate teacher should also be an excellent communicator and efficient tasker.
The responsibilities of the lower school associate teacher include but are not limited to the following:
- Help each child develop a positive sense of self-worth, of independence, and a sense of responsibility and self-direction
- Provide support to students and and the lead teacher in all lessons, and assist in the supervision and care of students under the guidance of the lead teacher
- Participate in professional goal setting and self-evaluation expectations
- Participate in recommended training programs, conferences, courses, and other aspects of professional growth
- Help in preparing newsletters and other parent communications
- Maintain close communication with families, including but not limited to phone calls, emails and conferences
Experience and Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in education is preferred.

Lower School Lead Teacher
Episcopal Collegiate School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic educator to join our Lower School team as a Lead Teacher for the 2025-2026 academic year. This position includes potential openings in PreK 4, Kindergarten, and 1st grade. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a homeroom or specific subject area, depending on the grade level assigned.
- Facilitate daily devotionals and morning meetings, in addition to homeroom responsibilities and instruction.

Episcopal Collegiate School is seeking a passionate, creative, and dynamic early childhood Discovery Lab Teacher to inspire young learners in exploring, experimenting, and innovating. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with PreK 3, PreK 4, Kindergarten, and 1st grade students, fostering a learning environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving. Middle School
Middle School Theatre Teacher
Episcopal Collegiate is seeking applicants for a middle school theatre teaching position for the academic year 2025-2026. The teaching responsibilities for this position include teaching middle school theatre classes as well as classes in related fields as needed. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with the upper school theatre teacher on three theatre productions a year, including directing one or two of them. Ideal candidates will have experience teaching middle school students, be experienced theatre artists, and positive collaborators. We seek teachers who are knowledgeable and enthusiastic about teaching middle school students. They should have an established interest in working with students from a variety of backgrounds who possess a range of abilities and learning styles. The responsibilities of the theatre teacher include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Develop, implement, and maintain a 6th-8th grade theatre curriculum and after school program that supports students’ understanding of the theatre arts, expands their empathy, increases their confidence and performance skills, and prepares them for participation in the upper school program and beyond.
- Work in partnership with colleagues to connect theatre activities with other disciplines so that students understand their school experience as an integrated whole.

- Advise approximately 10-14 middle school students in both academic and life skills areas.

- Experience in the theatre arts.
- Ability to teach a middle school video production class preferred though not required.

Upper School
Upper and Middle School Spanish Teacher
Episcopal Collegiate School seeks an enthusiastic and experienced Spanish teacher to inspire students in grades 6-12, fostering a love for language and culture in an independent school environment. Additional responsibilities will include serving as an Upper School student advisor, and may include sponsoring extra-curricular activities and/or coaching.
This full-time role in our World Languages Department begins in the 2025-26 school year.
Education and Experience
Candidates for this position should have at least two years of full-time Spanish-teaching experience and an undergraduate degree in Spanish language or literature from an accredited institution, with strong preference given to candidates with advanced degrees in a related field. Experience in and willingness to fulfill coaching responsibilities are a plus.
- Experience teaching Spanish required; experience teaching AP Spanish or other AP Languages preferred.
- Bachelor's degree required; Advanced degree preferred
- Lead teaching experience required; two or more years lead teaching experience preferred
