Entrepreneurial Studies
Our Entrepreneurial Studies program immerses high school students in real-world entrepreneurial thinking, combining Steve Blank’s Lean LaunchPad and Bill Aulet’s Disciplined Entrepreneurship frameworks. Through hands-on projects with local businesses and nonprofits, students learn to ideate, validate, and scale ideas—developing skills essential for successful, adaptable leaders.

Entrepreneurial studies
Highly Experiential
Our program is highly experiential, utilizing authentic challenges in partnership with community mentors and local enterprises. Compared to similar programs, ours emphasizes sustainable impact and tangible contributions to local businesses, giving students a unique portfolio of real-world achievements.
According to the AR Conductor and the Venture Center, startups are essential to driving innovation, creating jobs, and fostering economic resilience in Arkansas. Our program equips students with the entrepreneurial skills to contribute meaningfully to this dynamic movement in our state and beyond.
Growing Opportunities
Episcopal Collegiate’s Entrepreneurial Studies program continues to expand in exciting ways. In January 2025, we launched Business Immersion and Innovation, a course designed to give students real-world exposure by collaborating with local nonprofits and small businesses. Rooted in a human centered approach, the class challenges students to address community needs and explore venture-based solutions.
Building on that momentum, we are excited to introduce the Capstone Experience in Entrepreneurial Studies, beginning in August 2025. This advanced, student-driven course deepens entrepreneurial learning by inviting students to pursue product development and venture design based on their personal passions and lived experiences.
Capstone students will engage directly with the Little Rock community—developing socially conscious startups, partnering with local organizations, and applying design thinking to real-world challenges. It’s where innovation meets purpose—and where students lead the way
