How We Teach

Our teaching approach focuses on understanding and responding to the individual needs of each student, ensuring that every child receives personalized support and instruction. We maintain a balance between academic press and student support, challenging students while supporting them based on their specific needs. Teachers prioritize the use of experiential learning to engage their students daily.  Reader’s theater, collaborative projects, and the integration of arts and technology are just a few of the strategies used to make sure students learn and grow.

How We Evaluate

We employ a comprehensive evaluation approach that includes both standardized assessments and more personalized one-on-one evaluations. We are mindful not to define any student based on a single data point, recognizing that each child is more than just their test scores. Through a wide range of assessments, we identify specific learning needs, including additional support for foundational skills and enrichment opportunities to challenge students further. This tailored approach enables us to create a learning environment that fosters growth for every individual, meeting them at their unique starting point and encouraging their progress.
