Alumni Events

Singer-songwriter Jesse Ott will speak and perform in Middle and Upper School Chapel on Friday, January 11 at 9:20 a.m. Jesse is a member of the Class of 2008, and she is currently based in Nashville, Tennessee with her band, Whoa Dakota.

At Episcopal Collegiate School, Jesse was the editor of the yearbook and a member of Concert Choir. She played soccer her senior year and proclaims that she was “terrible at it, but had a blast.” She reflects that “Mrs. Cobb’s and Mrs. Conyer’s English classes instilled a love for storytelling, communication, and the power of the written word. Those two teachers are a big part of why I do what I do.” After graduation, Jesse attended Columbia College in Chicago and earned a B.A. in Vocal Performance.
