Lower School
Using a wide range of mediums, students engage in different types of art each week. Our teachers use the study of famous artists from around the world to engage students and encourage them to build their own skills. In addition to regular art class where students learn a technique or medium, students also engage in choice work which allows them to hone their creative skills.
Middle School
The Middle School art program develops a strong foundation in the visual elements and principles of art. Students enrolled in middle school art courses develop skills in drawing and become increasingly proficient in painting, printmaking, digital arts, and mixed media
Upper School
The focus of the visual arts program at Episcopal is to nurture the unique creative talent of each individual student. Creative expression is encouraged while students develop their artistic skills and explore new techniques in drawing, painting, printmaking, ceramics and mixed media.
