Meet Our Athletic Director

Monty Smith

 

Coach Monty Smith has been a coach, leader, role model, and mentor for athletes all over the state of Arkansas for twenty-two years. In his coaching career, Coach Smith has been named Volleyball Coach of the Year eight times, Varsity Girls Basketball Coach of the Year once, and all-around Coach of the Year ten times. 

Coach Smith began working at Episcopal Collegiate 15 years ago as a ninth grade history teacher. Since that time, he has been a Civics Teacher, Advisor, Assistant Athletic Director, Varsity and Middle School Girls Head Basketball Coach, Assistant Softball Coach, Bus Driver, and now the Varsity Girls Head Volleyball Coach and Director of Athletics for Episcopal Collegiate.
