We were so pleased to welcome back Meredith Lee Katzenberg '07 to Middle and Upper School Chapel as our speaker on last Thursday.

Monarch Migration was a huge success thanks to Mrs. Keener, Mrs. Bridges, Mother Curtis, Lower School students, and KARK 4!

On Tuesday, September 24, we welcomed Little Rock Mayor Frank Scott to speak at our Middle and Upper School Chapel service.

Last week, Middle and Upper School students and faculty had the opportunity to listen to a chapel presentation from seniors, Sarah Ware and Jay Hodge, on their summer work with UA Little Rock College of Social Sciences and Communication Summer Fellowship.

Mu Alpha Theta is a National High School and Two-Year College Mathematics Honor Society that has over 1800 chapters across the US and in many foreign countries. To be Inducted one must meet challenging requirements including distinction in college preparatory mathematics.

In Thursday morning Middle and Upper School Chapel, we celebrated the four seniors who were awarded the opportunity to work as a part of the Stella Boyle Smith Trust Summer Science Scholars Program. The four students who represented Episcopal were: Logan Carney, Caroline Harrelson, Jed Johnson, and Robert Shannon. These students presented their experience to the school community, highlighting the work they participated in and the lessons they learned.

On Wednesday, we were pleased to share the news that two members of the Class of 2020 have been named as National Merit Semifinalists. From among the 1.6 million members of this graduating class nationwide who took the National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test last fall, approximately 16,000--just less than 1%--were recognized as Semifinalists.

On Tuesday, September 24 at 9:20 a.m., Episcopal Collegiate School will welcome Little Rock Mayor, Frank Scott Junior. Mayor Scott will be addressing students and faculty in our daily chapel exercises.

The Jackson T. Stephens Outstanding Faculty Award is presented bi-annually to a faculty member who best exemplifies the qualities which characterized Mr. Stephens' life and work. Along with the Jackson T. Stephens Outstanding Senior Award, the Faculty Award was established by Mr. and Mrs. Warren A. Stephens in May of 2004 and represents the highest honor bestowed upon members of the Episcopal Collegiate faculty and senior class.

The Reverend Elizabeth Henry-McKeever '04 will give the homily at our all school convocation on September 4, 2019 from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Reverend Henry-Mckeever is a member of Episcopal Collegiate School's Founding Class of 2004, and it is with great joy that we welcome her to campus as we begin our school year.
